Mimosa is a classic fish puff salad without which almost no New Year's table can do. Cooking it is quite simple, but long. Canned saury with butter is best for him.
Wash the potatoes and carrots and boil in their uniforms until tender.
Boil chicken eggs hard-boiled.
Peel potatoes and carrots. Peel the eggs and separate the yolks from the whites.
Finely chop the onion and place in a deep plate. Pour boiling water over for 5-7 minutes. Then discard in a colander to drain the water.
Drain the liquid from the jar of fish, put it on a plate and mash with a regular fork.
Squeeze the potatoes with a press or pass through a meat grinder or grate on a fine grater.
Finely chop the egg whites.
Grate carrots on a fine grater.
Crumble the egg yolk with your hands.
Put the fish on the bottom of the salad bowl, coat with a little mayonnaise and add finely chopped egg whites.
Next, lay out a layer of carrots, which we will also coat with mayonnaise.
Onion follows the carrot layer.
And the final layer is potatoes, which we salt a little and coat with mayonnaise.
Top of the classic Mimosa is sprinkled with crumbs from egg yolk. We put the salad in the refrigerator for a couple of hours so that it is properly soaked. It is supposed to be served chilled.
Enjoy your meal!
