What's New Year's Eve without a prescription from a can of canned cod liver? I propose to prepare a familiar and beloved cod liver salad. In addition to the traditional ingredients of cod liver, eggs and mayonnaise (although many cook from these 3 ingredients), I supplemented it with rice, some add boiled potatoes instead of rice.
To prepare the salad, we need a jar of cod liver, boiled eggs and boiled rice, green onions and mayonnaise. It is better not to salt the salad, for my taste there is enough salt both in the liver and in mayonnaise.
Finely chop the green onion.
Cut the boiled eggs into small cubes.
Drain the oil from the cod liver and mash the liver with a fork.
Mix boiled rice, eggs, green onions, cod liver and season with mayonnaise and stir.
I use a serving ring for serving. Put the salad in it and refrigerate for a couple of hours.
You can remove the ring and decorate the salad of canned cod liver with eggs to your taste, for example, fresh herbs.
