This salad is one of the best festive appetizers. It is prepared very quickly, from any canned fish - saury, pink salmon, etc. In this case, it was saury that was used.
Boil rice until cooked in salted water. Rinse in a colander in a stream of cool water and let it drain.
Open a can of fish, drain off excess liquid and place on a plate. Mash saury with a fork.
Finely chop half of the onion. I prefer using white onions in salads as they are sweeter and juicier.
Finely chop the pickles and squeeze with your hands. You can take 1-2 cucumbers, depending on their size.
Boil eggs hard-boiled and chop finely.
Put all the ingredients in a deep dish or saucepan, season with mayonnaise, add finely chopped greens if desired and mix. Try it if there is a need for salt to taste.
The canned saury salad is ready, I made it very tasty and satisfying.
