Mimosa salad with canned food and cheese rightfully belongs to the traditional dishes that have been confidently occupying their niche for several decades, along with Olivier and herring under a fur coat. There are several variations in the preparation of this salad: with rice, potatoes, butter, cheese. But in each variant, canned fish is invariably used: pink salmon, mackerel, horse mackerel, sardine.
To prepare a salad "Mimosa" with canned food and cheese, you need to take onions, carrots and potatoes, hard cheese, eggs, canned fish, mayonnaise, herbs. Put the carrots and potatoes to cook, eggs in a separate bowl. Peel the onions and cut them into small cubes. If the onion is bitter, you can scald it with boiling water, this will save the situation.
Peel and grate boiled potatoes.
Cool boiled eggs, peel and separate the yolks from the whites, grate them on a fine grater separately from each other.
Grate hard cheese on a coarse or fine grater.
Use a tin key to open the tinned fish jar. Take out the right amount and mash with a fork.
Lay out the Mimosa salad in layers. Put grated potatoes at the very bottom, tamp and smooth the layer, brush with mayonnaise.
