The Delight salad is one of the favorites in my family. I have been preparing this salad for many years and we never get bored of it. The male half of my family considers this salad to be purely male, but my daughter and I disagree with them and we also always eat it with pleasure, enjoying the taste.
For the salad, take pork pulp, carrots, onions, canned green peas and mayonnaise. This salad uses pork, but can be made with chicken too.
Boil the pork until soft in salted water, cool and cut into cubes.
Cut the onion into half rings and marinate with salt, sugar and vinegar.
Grate the carrots on a coarse grater, put in a frying pan, add a little water and put out until soft with the lid closed. Then cool.
Put the meat and carrots in a bowl, add the pickled onions and peas without liquid. Add Mayo.
Mix the salad well. Add salt and pepper if required.
Serve immediately.
