Take note of the simple, quick, hearty and light salad with ham and croutons. You can cook it even faster if you use ready-made commercial crackers. You can experiment with dressings, but I suggest a savory mayonnaise-based sauce, preferably of good quality.
Prepare the ingredients:
Slice the bread (rye, white, cereal, or other) into small sticks or cubes.
Grate hard cheese (parmesan, goat …) on a fine grater, divide into two and add one clove of minced garlic to each.
To prepare the dressing, mix the mayonnaise with the cheese and garlic mixture and the Worcester sauce.
To make croutons, dry the pieces of bread in a dry or oiled frying pan.
Sprinkle hot croutons with cheese and garlic and stir.
Tear the lettuce with your hands.
Cut the ham into thin slices.
Cut the tomatoes into slices or cubes; excess juice can be removed immediately.
Season and stir.
When serving the salad, add the cheese and garlic croutons.
