I offer a delicious Pineapple holiday salad. There are a lot of layers and ingredients in this salad. Quite an unusual combination, but the salad is so delicious that you immediately want some extra.
In general, there are several different versions of the Pineapple salad, but I suggest my own. To make the salad tall and look like a real pineapple, it is better to repeat the layers twice. It is better to use an oval dish to form the salad.
You also need to boil potatoes and eggs first. In order to prepare Pineapple salad with walnuts in layers, all ingredients must be immediately divided into 2 parts.
Grate the potatoes and put them on a platter in the form of an oval for two-thirds of the volume. This is necessary in order to then form the leaves of the pineapple. Potatoes must be greased with mayonnaise.
Dice onion and smoked sausage. Put the onion on top of the potatoes, sausage on top of it and brush with mayonnaise.
Grate the apple, sprinkle with lemon juice and place on top of the sausage. I took a green sour apple, since we will still have sweet pineapple in our salad. Also grease the apple with mayonnaise.
Grate eggs, brush with mayonnaise and place on top of the apple, then add the diced pineapple.
Put potatoes again, apply mayonnaise.
Then onion, sausage, in a word, repeat the layers in the same order.
Grease the last pineapple layer with mayonnaise pointwise. Insert green onion feathers at the top of the pineapple.
Put halves or quarters of walnuts on top of mayonnaise. The salad needs to be soaked for 2-3 hours in the refrigerator and can be served.
