Step by step recipe with photo

In order to prepare a delicious and beautiful salad, it is not necessary to use expensive ingredients, it is enough to balance the taste of simple and affordable products well. Today I offer you a herringbone-shaped salad, which will certainly delight you at the New Year's table. I repeat that absolutely any salad can be prepared, the main thing is that the combination is tasty and harmonious.

To prepare the Yolka salad, I decided to use the following products: beef, rice, beets, pickled cucumbers, mozzarella cheese, green onions, mayonnaise and pomegranate for decoration. Pre-cook rice in salted water, and it is better to bake beets in the oven in foil.

Put boiled rice in the shape of a Christmas tree on a dish, make a mayonnaise mesh.

Cut the beef into cubes and lay on top of the rice, then also cover with mayonnaise.

Grate the beets and put on top of the meat. Apply the mayonnaise mesh again.

Cut the pickled cucumbers into cubes and place them on top of the beets.

Grate cheese, I had mozzarella cheese, but any hard cheese will do. Put the cheese on top of the cucumbers.

Chop the green onion finely. Apply a thin layer of mayonnaise to the cheese and sprinkle with green onions on top.

Already in the process I saw that a bunch of green onions would not be enough, so I added parsley, so it turned out even more interesting. We make beads on a Christmas tree from pomegranate seeds. For contrast, I decided to add sea buckthorn berries, and used pickled peppers for the top. Here's a salad.

Enjoy your meal!

I wish you all a good mood, happiness and health in the New Year!
