Mimosa salad is a delicious layered salad, familiar to many since the times of the USSR. Not a single meal was often complete without this salad. This salad was prepared in those years using saury or sardines, with pickles and potatoes.
Over the years, the salad has undergone a number of changes, they began to add onions, apples, cook it with rice and other types of canned fish, such as tuna or pink salmon, and add cheese.
Today I offer you a variant of the Mimosa salad using canned pink salmon.
To prepare a salad "Mimosa" with pink salmon, we need such a set of products.
Boil potatoes, carrots and eggs. Peel potatoes, grate and place on the bottom of a salad bowl. Smooth the potatoes and brush with mayonnaise.
You can first pour a little pink salmon gravy over the potatoes, and then apply a little mayonnaise. You can also salt and pepper the potatoes a little, if you like more salt.
Mash the pink salmon with a fork and put on top of the potatoes. Also apply some mayonnaise.
Put an apple on top of the fish. I wanted to cut the apple into strips, but if you wish, you can grate the apple. It should also be greased with mayonnaise.
Grate the carrots and place on top of the apple. Grease the carrots with a layer of mayonnaise.
Divide eggs into whites and yolks, grate separately. First lay out the whites, brush with mayonnaise, then sprinkle with yolks.
