With the beginning of spring, more and more people go to nature and enjoy the taste of meat cooked on fire. Serve a salad of baked vegetables with meat.

Khorovats - translated from Armenian means barbecue, that is, vegetables are baked on the fire as well as meat. Today I will tell you how to make such a salad at home, but so that it smells like a haze. This method is suitable only for owners of gas stoves; this trick will not work with an electric stove. It turns out exactly the same khorovats, as if you cooked it over a fire. If someone is confused by this method, then vegetables can simply be baked in the oven, but the smell of haze then you will no longer please.

We need such products: It is best to take vegetables in equal quantities, but it is not forbidden to violate the proportions.

Line the gas stove with foil, making holes for the burners. Put the grill from the oven on top. Turn the burners on over medium heat and place the vegetables. I cooked on two burners, but you can cook on four. Just have time to turn the vegetables with tongs. They should char and become soft. It will not hurt to open a window and turn on the hood, although there is no burning and soot at all.

Put the fried vegetables in a bag so that they are steamed and the skin is easily peeled.

Then peel the vegetables from the black skin.

Grind everything on the board, the vegetables are very soft.

Place everything in a deep bowl.

Add small chopped onion and chopped garlic clove. I do not like to clog the taste of the salad with garlic, but you can put more of it. Season with salt, pepper, add a little oil. It would be nice to add greens - cilantro and parsley, but I didn't have it and I add dry celery and basil.

Mix everything before combining. If the tomatoes are tasteless, you can add a little lemon juice. This salad is delicious at any time and with any side dish, you can simply spread it on a fresh cake.
