I am sharing with you a recipe for a delicious salad with tongue and champignons.
The tongue is a versatile and healthy product from which you can prepare various snacks, aspic or use as one of the ingredients for salads. For this salad, you can use both beef and pork tongue. In my version, pork will be used. In order to shorten the preparation time for the salad, boil the tongue the day before. The cooking time is from 1.5 to 2.5 hours, depending on the size of the tongue and the age of the animal.
Also, this salad uses suluguni cheese, which is not often found in salads. However, the cheese lends a certain salty flavor to the salad.
So, let's prepare all the products according to the list. Cook eggs immediately.
Let's start by roasting mushrooms. To do this, cut the champignons into slices, chop the onion in quarters and fry them together until golden brown, at the end add salt and pepper. Leave the mushrooms to cool, and in the meantime, we are cutting the rest of the ingredients.
Cut fresh cucumber and pre-cooked and peeled tongue into strips.
Cut the suluguni cheese into cubes of the same size as the cucumbers and tongue, and then tear it with your hands into thinner fibers.
By this time, the mushrooms will have cooled down and can be added to the salad. Also chop the parsley.
