Birch salad is a simple but delicious holiday salad. Housewives cook it in different ways, but the most common version of this salad is with prunes. I have prepared Birch salad with chicken fillet and prunes more than once, I want to share the recipe with you. Thanks to the prunes, the taste of the salad is noticeably enriched. The salad is perfect for a festive table on a birthday or on March 8, which is just around the corner.

Prepare the necessary products for the salad.

Rub the champignons, cut into slices.

Cut the onion into quarters. Heat the oil in a frying pan and fry the mushrooms and onions until mushrooms are soft and the onions are transparent, salt at the end.

Take a flat plate and put the cooled mushrooms and onions in the first layer. Apply a mayonnaise mesh. I don't like a lot of mayonnaise in salads, so I add it to a minimum.

Dice the boiled chicken fillet and place it on top of the mushrooms. Apply some mayonnaise again.

The prunes should be washed and dried, and cut into cubes. You can use both dried and smoked prunes. The latter makes the taste of the salad especially spicy. Place the prunes on top of the fillet.

Next, lay out the diced cucumbers and apply the mayonnaise mesh. However, nothing prevents you from adding more mayonnaise.

Divide eggs into whites and yolks, grate separately on a fine grater. Put the yolks in the center, and whites around.
