We are all accustomed to seeing the traditional herring salad on the festive table. But from the products that are included in the composition, you can prepare a simple, but at the same time, delicious salad with a slight change in layers. Our family loves to experiment and try something new. This is how this delicious salad turned out, which is perfect for any holiday and will decorate the festive table.

To prepare the salad, we will need products that any housewife can have at hand: boiled potatoes, boiled carrots, boiled beets, onions, medium-sized herring, a few cloves of garlic, hard cheese (who likes what, I used "Russian") and mayonnaise taste.

Peel the salted herring and cut into small cubes.

Cut the onions into small cubes.

Rub the boiled potatoes on a coarse grater.

And we mix it with mayonnaise. Add mayonnaise to taste.

Rub the boiled beets on a fine grater. We also rub the cloves of garlic on a fine grater and add to the beets.

Add mayonnaise to the mixture of beets and garlic.

Cut the boiled carrots into cubes. We also cut the cheese into cubes and mix with the carrots.

Add mayonnaise to the carrots with cheese and mix.

Lay out the salad in layers:
