I would like to acquaint culinary experts and site users with our Belarusian cuisine. There are many dishes from the village. This dish is the salad I have prepared. Rural cuisine has never been distinguished by special delicacies, but it has always been affordable and abounded in hearty dishes. Try it and see for yourself!
To prepare "Minsk" salad, you need to take potatoes, fresh mushrooms, onions, sauerkraut, refined sunflower oil, granulated sugar. Add salt and vinegar to taste. Use green onions for decoration.
Lightly chop the cabbage.
Pour the peeled potatoes with hot salted water, boil until soft, dry, cool, peel and cut into small cubes or slices.
Peel the mushrooms, separate the legs, use only the caps.
Boil mushrooms until tender, cool and cut into slices.
Peel the onions and cut into thin rings.
Combine all prepared ingredients, acidify and salt to taste, sprinkle with sugar and season with butter.
When serving salad, sprinkle with chopped green onions.
