The classic Mistress salad is a great variant of a festive flaky vegetable salad. The salad is very satisfying, fresh and juicy. If the mayonnaise dressing is unsuitable for you because of its calorie content, make a lighter dressing by mixing equal servings of mayonnaise and yogurt.
I will serve the salad in portions, you can prepare the salad in a large salad bowl. Layers can be laid out according to your preference.
To prepare the "Mistress" salad according to the classic recipe, we will prepare all the products according to the list. Place the beets in a saucepan and cover with water. Put the pan on the fire and cook the beets until tender for 20-25 minutes. We check the readiness of the beets by puncturing the fruit with a knife, if the knife enters easily, the beets are ready. Drain the water from the beets. Let the beets cool and peel them.
