I really love the combination in seafood dishes with citrus or other fruits. There are salads that can be cooked in 15-20 minutes, since seafood is usually cooked quickly, all that remains is to cut the vegetables and fruits, mix all the ingredients, and a healthy and tasty salad is ready! I prepare a salad with shrimps, avocado and grapefruit for get-togethers with my girlfriends, because it is hearty, tasty and healthy!
We will prepare all the products according to the list. I use small shrimps for the salad, and I will take 2-3 pieces to decorate the salad when serving. royal. You can fry shrimp in butter or olive oil, I will do it in butter. The lettuce leaves can be your favorites, but the arugula goes very well with the rest of the lettuce ingredients. The mayonnaise in the dressing can easily be replaced with Greek yogurt.
I will cook 2 servings of salad, so I will divide all the ingredients in half and put them on a dish.
Peel the shrimp from shells, heads and intestinal wreath.
Heat butter or olive oil in a frying pan, add salt and ground sweet paprika (optional) and fry the shrimp in oil for literally 5-7 minutes. Let us cool the shrimp.
Cut the avocado in half lengthwise, remove the bone and extract the pulp, cut it into small strips.
For dressing, mix mayonnaise and ketchup in a bowl.
Put half of the arugula salad leaves on a dish. Put 1 tablespoon in the center of the dish. dressing and half fried shrimp. Arbitrarily lay out the strips of half an avocado.
Peel the grapefruit, divide the fruit into slices, remove the film from each slice of grapefruit so that it does not taste bitter in the salad.
Again, randomly lay out the grapefruit slices on the dish.
We collect the second salad in the same way.
In case you do not plan to serve the salad right away, it is better to cut all the ingredients of the salad into smaller pieces and mix them with the dressing, so you will prevent darkening of the avocado pieces thanks to the grapefruit juice. I like the ingredients to be coarsely chopped and retain as much of their beneficial properties and juices as possible.
Shrimp, grapefruit and avocado salad is ready!
Enjoy your meal!
