Especially considering that in our stores boiled beets are cheaper than fresh ones (and are found much more often), respectively, I make this salad from boiled beets. In this case, I spend on its preparation, in general, only 5 minutes. True, then he needs to let it brew for another half hour (better - even more).
If you have all the ingredients at hand, then such a salad with herring and beets can be prepared in the morning, and eaten at lunch or in the evening.
Please note that I have no salt in the ingredients. A herring is salting him. And my herring is slightly salted. Accordingly, if your herring turns out to be saltier, then you will need … more beets.
