A delicious salad of beef heart and boiled beetroot is a satisfying addition to any lunch and dinner.
Beef heart - 400 g
Beets - 1 pc.
Pickled cucumber - 2 pcs.
Onions - 1 pc.
Ground black pepper - 1 pinch
Mayonnaise - 2 tablespoons

This salad is one of the most delicious in Belarusian cuisine, but it is not prepared very often. It should be noted that the heart entering it requires a sufficient long-term heat treatment. The salad contains common products, is inexpensive and has a spicy taste.
To prepare the salad, you need to take a beef heart, an onion, a large pickled cucumber, medium-sized beetroot, mayonnaise, ground black pepper and salt.
Pour the beets with water and boil until soft.
Cut the heart lengthwise, clean it from films and large blood vessels, remove blood clots, rinse thoroughly, soak in cold water for 2-3 hours and dry. Put the prepared heart in boiling water and cook at low boil until tender (at least 3-4 hours). Add salt 30–40 minutes before the end of cooking.
Cool the finished heart and cut into small cubes.
Cool the boiled beets, peel and grate to make Korean-style carrots or cut into strips.
Peel the onion and chop finely.
Cut the pickled cucumbers lengthwise into 4 pieces, and then finely chop each quarter across.
Combine heart, cucumbers, onions and beets.
Mix the mass.
Season the mixture with mayonnaise, pepper and salt to taste.
Stir the salad.
Decorate the salad as you wish.
