Salad with chicken basturma, Korean carrots and chips is a peculiar, but quite tasty festive snack. It will be impossible to tear yourself away from the most tender meat of dried chicken breast combined with spicy carrots, complemented by fresh cucumbers and crispy potato chips. Cooking will take no more than 10 minutes. Provided that the necessary ingredients are available from the hostess.
To prepare a festive salad with basturma, you will need: chilled dried chicken, Korean-style carrots (medium spicy), clean fresh cucumbers, high-calorie mayonnaise and chips. We have Lays "Sour cream and greens". Leafy greens can be added to the salad if desired.
Let's get started! First you need to mix the preliminary salad. This is done in a separate bowl. Korean carrots are placed in a glass bowl. It is advisable to use a freshly prepared homemade version, where the composition will include not only Korean spices, but also garlic with fried onions.
Fresh cucumbers are chopped with cubes or elongated straws. Then they are sent to a bowl of carrots.
Basturma is cut into cubes or long strips (as in our case).
Prepared salad dressing is seasoned with mayonnaise and then mixed.
No salt is used in our salad.
The preliminary salad is laid out into portions, after which it is supplemented with chips and served to the festive table. Re-stirring the snack dish is allowed already before eating - so that the chips do not soften, but continue to crunch directly in the salad.
Salad with basturma, Korean carrots and chips is ready! We invite you to take a sample and crunch.
