Herring under a fur coat is one of the most beloved and popular recipes in the post-Soviet space. And although the recipe is banal, and the composition is simple, this is an indispensable attribute of the New Year's table or other less significant holiday. To make it more interesting in taste, we try to diversify the salad, add new ingredients.

In addition to the main herring, my salad is "grown" with red fish and smoked pike. In principle, you can take any fish, it can be capelin, chum salmon, whitefish, silver carp, as long as there are three types of fish. This will greatly enrich the taste of the salad!

For cooking herring under a Triple Sheepskin coat, take all the ingredients from the list. Boil eggs and vegetables until tender. I indicated an approximate amount, if the beets (or carrots) are large, then one will be enough. I have herring from the store, half a large carcass is enough, the pike is our northern one (the local fish factory salts and smokes), and salted trout using this method.
