Snack salads occupy, if not the dominant place at the feast, then certainly important. Crab stick salads are especially popular during the winter season. I propose to cook one of the variations - a delicious nutritious salad with crab sticks and bell pepper.

The dish is perfect as a snack for any holiday.

Stock up on foods from the list: chilled or frozen crab sticks, bell peppers, cheese, canned corn, onions, croutons - to taste.

The salad is prepared in layers. A small head of onion is cut into small cubes and sent to the bottom of a serving dish.

Crab sticks are cut into rings and placed on top of the onion layer. The sticks can be replaced with crab meat if desired.

Fresh cucumber is chopped into strips or cubes. Spread in an even layer on crab sticks. At this point, you can add a couple pinches of salt.

Then a light layer of mayonnaise.

Canned corn comes in two "modest" layers in the salad, just in addition to the main ingredients.

The cheese is rubbed on a coarse grater. Covers a light layer of corn.
