An easy, quick-to-prepare salad with dates, cabbage and feta cheese will bring bright colors and a pleasant variety to your daily menu. Made with red cabbage, spicy dressing, sweet dates, salty feta cheese and aromatic toasted sesame seeds, the salad is healthy, nutritious and has an appetizing sweet-salty flavor with nutty and honey-caramel notes. A great addition to lunch or dinner that can be prepared in a few minutes. Try it!
To make a salad with dates, feta, and red cabbage, you will need the ingredients listed.
Chop the red cabbage thinly. Peel and chop the dates coarsely.
Place the cabbage in a salad bowl. Add 1-2 pinches of salt, some ground black pepper and 1 tbsp. lime or lemon juice. As a result of the addition of juice, the color of the cabbage will become more intense and vibrant.
Mix everything well and lightly remember the cabbage with your hands, so that it starts juice and becomes softer.
Add olive oil, dates, finely chopped parsley, 3/4 small cubed feta cheese, and 1.5 tbsp. roasted sesame seeds.
Mix everything well. Try the salad and add more salt, pepper, or lime juice as needed.
Place the salad on a plate and sprinkle with the remaining feta cheese, a pinch of herbs and sesame seeds.
Salad with dates, red cabbage and feta cheese is ready. The salad can be served immediately, but if you let it brew, it will only taste better.
