Step by step recipe with photo
Today I will share with you a salad recipe, which makes sense to cook only in summer, in the season of ground vegetables and herbs. This is my favorite summer dinner and my favorite vegetable salad. But no matter how much I tried to repeat it in winter, spring or autumn, it never turned out even half as good as in summer.
Of course, it's all about fresh vegetables, just picked from the garden or bought at the local market; greenhouse vegetables from the supermarket are not at all suitable for such a salad, you should not even waste time experimenting. If you don't have Serbian feta cheese, use Greek feta or any other soft pickled cheese, as long as it is of the best quality.
To prepare summer salad with Serbian feta cheese and zucchini, prepare the ingredients according to the list.
Cut the zucchini and cucumbers into thin slices.
Peel the bell peppers and cut into strips, cut the tomatoes into slices. Add chopped basil herbs and drizzle with lemon juice to taste.
Season with salt and pepper to taste, add a pinch of sugar. Stir well to give the vegetables juice.
Divide the salad into bowls, crumble a piece of feta cheese into each serving and pour over with olive oil. Serve the salad immediately; you should not prepare it in advance and store it in the refrigerator.
Summer salad with Serbian feta cheese and zucchini is ready, you can start your meal.
Enjoy your meal!
