Step by step recipe with photo
For those who love seafood, quick cooking and low-calorie dishes, I suggest a recipe for a salad with mussels and shrimps. For bulk, a brighter color, I add crab meat and fresh lettuce leaves. In fact, additional components can be changed. A juicy iceberg, harsh arugula, resilient squid or octopus will come in handy here. The main ones are mussels, shrimps and lemon, which is mandatory for dressing.
The larger the mussels and shrimp got, the easier it is to peel, and the meaty seafood promises to be tastier than the little things. Pre-thaw the frozen ingredients (in the package on the refrigerator shelf).
Let's prepare products according to the list.
We wash the lettuce leaves in cold water, shake them off, dry them on a napkin. Then we easily tear it with our hands in small fragments.
Peel the thawed shrimp.
Throw in a dry hot frying pan.
Load the mussels immediately. If necessary, we pre-clean them from sand, algae, dirt.
Add crab meat, stir and steam for 3-4 minutes. As soon as the shrimp turn red on all sides, remove the seafood from the stove.
To dress our salad with mussels and shrimps, mix olive oil, lemon juice, salt, ground black pepper.
Combine fresh lettuce leaves with a warm seafood mix, sprinkle generously with lemon-oil dressing.
We serve homemade salad with mussels and shrimps on the table immediately. Enjoy your meal!
Important additions to the recipe
Thaw frozen seafood beforehand and slowly. Place on the shelf of the main refrigerator compartment.
- So that shrimps, mussels, and other seafood do not become too tough, heat treatment (cooking, frying, grilling, etc.) should be short-term, only a few minutes.
