It is useful to eat carrots in any form - raw, dried, boiled and even fried. Various salads are prepared from fried carrots - with beef, pork, chicken fillet, fresh cabbage, liver and tongue, mushrooms, squid, etc.
The suggested salad recipe with fried carrots and onions is simple and includes the ingredients that are always on hand. It turns out a juicy and tender salad. I fill it with sour cream, but you can use mayonnaise, better homemade.
So let's get started! I prepare the necessary products in advance.
Peel vegetables, mine. I cut the onion into half rings or feathers.
I rub the carrots on a coarse grater.
Pour vegetable oil into a preheated pan, add chopped onions.
Fry the onion over medium heat until soft.
I add grated carrots to the pan.
I also fry until soft, stirring vegetables from time to time.
I put the fried vegetables in a bowl and let them cool.
Chop green onions and parsley.
I add canned peas, chopped greens, salt and black pepper to taste to the cooled fried vegetables.
I mix the ingredients.
I add sour cream to the salad.
Stir the salad again.
