This salad will appeal not only to vegetarians, but also to people actively involved in fitness. Salad with walnuts and grapes is perfect on training days to gain muscle and lose fat. Avocados and nuts contain all the essential vitamins and fatty amino acids, while grapes contain natural glucose to help raise blood sugar. Despite the completely green composition, the salad is tasty, very healthy and quite satisfying due to avocados, nuts and grapes.
Prepare all the food you need to prepare the salad. Wash and dry the avocado, cucumber and grapes.
Rinse the lettuce and arugula, dry with a paper towel, tear the lettuce and place on a serving dish.
Peel the avocado and pits, cut into small slices along with the cucumber, put on lettuce leaves.
It is better to take seedless grapes for salad. If pitted, cut each grape in half and remove. Sprinkle grapes over the salad.
Dry the nuts in a skillet for a few minutes.
Put the toasted nuts in a mortar, grind them into a gruel, or leave small pieces. You can chop the nuts with a knife, only you need to do it very, very finely. The main thing is to make the nut butter stand out.
Next, let's prepare a vinaigrette dressing for our salad. In a small bowl, combine olive oil, grain mustard and wine vinegar, stir the mixture well until smooth, add the nuts pounded in a mortar, stir the dressing again. This time, you do not need to add ingredients in a ratio of 3 tablespoons of oil to 1 vinegar, since walnuts have enough of their oil.
Pour the dressing over the salad and serve immediately. Everyone will mix their salad independently.
Nuts, by the way, can be laid out on top of the salad in quarters or halves, but for this salad they are ideally suited precisely as part of the dressing and do not dominate the taste, i.e. do not clog the flavor of avocado, grapes and other salad ingredients.
I really liked the salad with walnuts and grapes, enjoyable!
