I suggest making a delicious cocktail salad from simple vegetables! Despite the lack of outlandish products and simplicity, it quickly leaves any table! The sharpness of the radish is softened by sour cream, the freshness of the cucumber and the apple goes well with the sourness of the cranberry.

The “Apples in the Snow” cocktail salad is light, delicate, and if it is beautifully decorated and served in portions, it is worthy of a festive table!

We will prepare all the products for making a salad.

Peel the onion, cut it in half rings and fill it with boiling water for 1 minute. Then chill in cold water. Onions lose their bitterness and harshness. Just be careful not to overdo it in boiling water, otherwise the onion will become boiled!

We will clean the apple from the skin and seeds. Cut into strips and sprinkle with lemon juice so that it does not darken.

Peel the fresh cucumber and cut into strips. Tip: discard the sliced cucumber in a colander, let excess moisture drain, otherwise the salad will be too watery and the view will be ugly.

Peel the radish and cut into strips. Some people soak the radish in water to get rid of its inherent harshness. It's a matter of taste, and the radish is different. In general, I did not soak.

All that remains is to mix all the ingredients together! It is better to season the salad directly when serving, otherwise it will let the juice out. This is permissible for a home meal, but it will look unappetizing on a festive table.

I propose to serve the “Apples in the Snow” cocktail salad in portions, simulate a snow cover with thick sour cream through a pastry syringe and decorate with cranberries.
