An easy-to-prepare and interesting appetizer for a festive table in the form of lavash baskets with salad.

Ingredients

Crab sticks - 150 g

Fresh cucumbers - 2 pcs.

Chicken eggs - 3 pcs.

Hard cheese - 70 g

Canned corn - 50 g

Thin lavash - 2 sheets

Mayonnaise - 2 tablespoons

Step by step recipe with photo

Today we will consider how beautiful and original to serve salad on a festive table. Such an interesting serving of even the most simple salad will delight the guests. Salad baskets are very convenient to prepare for a buffet table.

We will create the baskets ourselves from ordinary thin pita bread. Despite the excellent result, the cooking process is quite easy and fast. By forming the baskets, you can give them an arbitrary shape of your choice, the main thing is that they look beautiful and are convenient for laying out the salad. As for the salad itself, with which it is planned to fill the pita baskets, it is permissible to cook anyone, relying on your own taste.

Lay the thin pita bread on the work surface, level it so that there are no bumps. Cut the cloth into equal squares about 10 cm in size. Break one egg into a deep bowl, chop it with a fork. Lubricate the middle of every second square of pita bread with the resulting egg mixture. Lay the rest of the specimens on top at an angle (as shown in the photo).

Place the blanks instantly into small muffin tins. Load the products into an oven preheated to 200 degrees, bake for 10 minutes. At the same time, carefully monitor the baking process so that the tips of the pita bread do not burn. This process can also be performed in the microwave oven, while baking for only 5 minutes.

After heat treatment, remove the lavashiks from the molds. They will become dry and keep their shape perfectly, forming a kind of baskets.

In parallel, prepare a salad with which you will fill the baskets. Rinse fresh cucumbers, cut into small cubes, put in a deep mixing bowl. Add canned corn to the cucumbers after squeezing it out of the marinade.

Boil 2 eggs in advance, then refrigerate, remove the shell, cut into small cubes. All components of the salad should have a small or medium shredder so that the salad looks more compact in baskets.

Free the crab sticks from the wrapper, then adjust with squares. Grate hard cheese on a coarse grater. Throw the prepared elements to the main composition.

Season the mixture with mayonnaise, salt to taste, mix thoroughly.

Immediately after cooking, fill the lavash baskets with salad, decorate them with herbs, serve.
