Seafood dishes have always been distinguished by their exquisite taste. Today we are preparing a simple but delicious salad with fried squid, rice and crab sticks.
The main condition is to properly cook squid, because it is they who set the main taste to the dish. Squid can be boiled, but it will be tastier if fried in oil with spices. Squids are fried literally for a minute, long-term heat treatment will make them tough. Choose long-grain rice, round varieties are not suitable for salads. Additional ingredients include crab sticks, eggs, and onions. As for me, just the perfect set for a delicious salad. Salad is dressed with mayonnaise. The dish comes out very satisfying and nutritious, it is better to eat it separately from the side dishes.
Prepare the squid. After taking them out of the freezer, rinse them under running water. In just a few minutes, all the ice will go away and the frozen carcasses will become soft. Peel off the thin film inside, also remove the chordal transparent plate. Cut the carcasses into large rings.
Preheat a frying pan, grease it with butter or vegetable oil, add squid. After all the juice has evaporated, fry the squid over high heat for about 1 minute, stirring frequently with a spatula. At the same time, sprinkle them with salt and your favorite spices. After a minute, immediately transfer the squid from the hot frying pan to a plate so that the frying process is completely completed, cool them.
Boil the rice in salted water beforehand to cool. The cooking time for rice is individual, see the package. The main thing is not to digest it, for the salad you need crumbly rice. After cooking, rinse it with cold water, let it drain.
Boil the eggs until they are "hard boiled", cool, peel, cut the pulp into cubes. Combine eggs with rice in a deep bowl.
Defrost the crab sticks, cut in any way, add to the main composition.
Place the fried squid rings in the salad. If desired, the rings can be cut into 2 or 4 pieces.
Chop the onion and green onion finely, add to the salad.
Season the mixture with mayonnaise, stir. Add salt and ground pepper to taste, but keep in mind that the squid and rice are already salty, so don't overdo it with salt.
Ready salad with fried squid, rice and crab sticks can be cooled in the refrigerator for 10 minutes, during which time the components will absorb some of the mayonnaise. Serve the salad.
