A successful meeting of the New Year depends on a good mood, a cheerful company, as well as a delicious, beautiful and original festive table. On this holiday, the dish is very often decorated in accordance with the New Year's theme - Christmas tree cones, balls, clocks or animals. As you know, 2019 will pass under the sign of the pig, and in order not to think about the design for a long time, make a salad in the shape of a cute pig. Thus, you can arrange any salad of your choice, the main thing is that it is delicious.
The proposed salad consists of a successful set of components that harmoniously combine with each other, complementing each other. The main ingredient is sardines in oil. Shredded products are laid out in layers, which in turn are smeared with mayonnaise.
Boil the potatoes in a peel until tender, cool, remove the top layer. Then grate the tubers with a coarse grater.
Boil carrots until cooked, chop using a coarse grater. Root vegetables can be cooked in one container.
Free the sardines from the oil in which they were stored, crush them thoroughly with a fork.
Peel the onion head, rinse, chop into small squares.
Boil the eggs in advance, cool them in water, scrape off the crust, separate the white from the yolk. Grate the protein on a coarse grater, set the yolk aside for a while.
Remove the wrapper from the processed cheese, chop it in the same way as eggs.
Prepare a flat dish, put a forming ring on top, lay all prepared components in layers. The sequence of layers is potatoes, sardines, onions, protein, cheese curds, carrots. Lubricate each layer, except sardines, with a sufficient amount of mayonnaise. When all layers of lettuce are formed, cover it with chopped yolks. Remove the forming ring.
Next, decorate the top of the salad with a pig's face. To do this, cut out a nickle, cheeks and ears from boiled sausage. Use the olives to make the eyes and nose. Decorate all elements with mayonnaise. Place the parsley leaves at the bottom of the salad.
