Each housewife prepares this or that salad in her own way, according to the taste and color of her family or guests. Therefore, there is no one alike in the world "Olivier" and "Herring under a fur coat."
It's the same with Tiffany salad. The basic ingredients are most often taken the same, but each brings its own flavor to the dish: someone adds apples, someone uses almonds. Beef is going to be my thing today. I will be using beef instead of the classic chicken. It must be boiled and cooled in advance; this can be done even in a couple of days. The meat left over from cooking broth for soup or other dishes will do.
When there is boiled beef in the fridge, little is left to prepare the salad. First, boil the eggs. Second, chop and grate all the ingredients. Finally, shape the salad in layers. All this will take you no more than an hour. Therefore, the Tiffany salad with beef can be safely called quick and simple!
If necessary, clean the boiled and chilled beef from fat and cut into small cubes.
Chop the nuts with a knife or in a blender until medium crumble.
Rub the cheese on a fine grater.
Cool the boiled eggs, peel them and also finely chop them with a knife.
We wash the grapes and cut each berry in half.
We form the salad. Put chopped meat on the bottom of the dish, cover it with a layer of mayonnaise on top and sprinkle with nuts.
Next comes a layer of cheese, then eggs. Lubricate only the upper egg layer with mayonnaise.
We crown the dish with halved grapes.
You can mold the salad using a special press mold. We remove the finished salad before serving for an hour or two in the refrigerator. During this time, the dish will cool down and soak a little with mayonnaise.
