Fried almonds are sold today on almost every corner, but this does not mean at all that they are fried the way you like … For example, I want culinary experiments. Therefore, today I propose to figure out how to fry almonds in a pan (after drying in the oven).

Important! Salt in this recipe acts as an optional additive - no impregnation, no soaking of nuts in a salt solution is assumed.

So, let's prepare the nuts and check if the house has run out of salt. We turn on the oven for heating - 100 degrees (the temperature is approximate and depends on the specific oven).

If you want to get a more presentable version of the snack, then sort the nuts (move the gnawed and broken ones aside).

Further, before frying the almonds in a frying pan, rinse it thoroughly under running water. Perhaps, to someone it will seem superfluous, but God protects the saved, so away with excess dirt and random garbage.

Then put the almonds in a bowl and wait half a minute. Drain the remaining water from the bowl and transfer the almonds to a baking sheet in one layer.

We place the baking sheet in a preheated oven on a medium level and leave there for 10-15 minutes. If you wish, you can hold it in the oven for an hour, but then the pan is no longer needed.

Preheat the pan.

When the almonds are dry, remove them from the oven and transfer them to the skillet.

Fry the almonds in a pan, stirring occasionally, until cooked (the most fearless can taste the nuts for readiness in the process). It took me 10 minutes on a slightly below average heat.

As a result, my fried almonds are crispy but not burnt. The degree of roasting is much lower than what is sold in our stores.

When it seems to you that it is time to remove the almonds from the pan, pour them on a towel, salt to taste and wrap tightly. After 10 minutes, the almonds will still slightly reach, and at the same time they will cool down.

That's it, fried almonds with salt are ready. Enjoy your meal!
