I am sure that every summer resident has beds with different greens, and I am no exception. This year, as never before, there is a lot of dill, basil and parsley, some have already been frozen and dried. Of course, not a single salad is complete without green tea, I put it in, because you need to use the gifts of nature and eat vitamins from the garden, as much as possible, while summer allows.
Today I made a sauce of different herbs, very tasty and aromatic. If you add Parmesan and pine nuts, you get a Pesto sauce, but I have a simplified version - I make this sauce when I want to marinate meat or season salad. And how delicious it is to add it to borscht or cabbage soup … This sauce will not stay in the refrigerator, but still do not cook it in large portions, it does not last very long.
Prepared all the necessary products for making herb sauce.
I washed it thoroughly under running water, laid it on a clean towel and let the excess moisture drain off.
I removed the dense stems, and put the leaves in the blender bowl.
Added olive oil and salt.
You can use absolutely any oil, the main thing is that it is to your taste.
I added lime juice, maybe lemon, it's not important.
Crushed with a blender into a homogeneous mass.
The fragrant herb sauce is ready.
