Buckwheat contains a lot of iron and useful microelements necessary for the human body, but unfortunately there are not many dishes from this product. I want to share with you a very tasty and simple recipe for making buckwheat soup with chicken broth, available even to novice cooks.

Pour water in a saucepan, put chicken in it and put on fire. When the water boils, remove the resulting foam until the broth becomes transparent. Leave to simmer and make a vegetable base for the soup.

Chop the onion head finely.

Grate the carrots on a medium-sized grater.

Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan and fry the onion until transparent.

Then put the carrots to the onion, mix and cover. Simmer for about 5 minutes.

Peel and dice the potatoes.

Rinse the buckwheat and fry in a pan without oil for about 5 minutes.

Remove the chicken from the broth, separate the meat from the bones and return to the saucepan. Also put all the previously prepared ingredients in a saucepan, add bay leaf, black peppercorns and salt. Cook for another 10 minutes. When the soup is ready, cover and let it brew for another 10 minutes.
