This soup reminds me of kharcho in a lightweight form. The main points that I would like to note: for the preparation of this soup, I use only broth (for example, you needed meat to cook some dish, but the broth remained, so in this case I often cook this delicious soup), basmati rice (with soup is not so tasty with other rice) and always a clove of garlic in a fried! Prepare you too!
To make rice soup with tomatoes, take chicken broth, potatoes, rice, onions, carrots, tomatoes, vegetable oil, garlic, salt, black pepper, bay leaf.
Dip the potatoes cut into cubes into the chicken broth and cook until soft.
At this time, fry the onion (cubes) and carrots (fine grater) in vegetable oil.
Add diced tomatoes without skin to the frying (my tomatoes are not very red), fry all for 5 minutes, and then add the chopped clove of garlic, stir, heat the frying and turn off the stove.
When the potatoes are almost cooked, salt the broth to your liking, add the washed rice to the soup, stir and cook until both rice and potatoes are cooked.
Then transfer the frying from the pan to the soup.
