For the preparation of millet soup, I used chicken broth, you can make it on any meat or vegetable. You can use the recipe for a delicious beef broth.
The soup turns out to be hearty and thick enough, it will undoubtedly add variety to your first course diet.
We will cook chicken soup with millet, egg and cabbage using these products.
We wash the millet thoroughly, then fill it with boiling water.
We cook the broth, if you wish, you can cook the soup in any meat or vegetable broth.
Saute chopped onions and carrots in vegetable oil.
Peel and chop the potatoes.
Thinly chop the cabbage.
Add potatoes, cabbage, roast to the broth. Drain the millet, rinse it again and add it to the pan. Salt and pepper to taste and cook for about 20 minutes until vegetables are ready.
Add a slice of boiled egg and chopped greens to the ready-made millet soup.
