Many people know that pea soup is popularly called musical for its unusual properties. There is one little secret thanks to which this wonderful soup does not cause side effects in the digestive system, just soak the peas overnight. Today I propose to cook a wonderful pea soup in a slow cooker.
Ingredients for pea soup in the photo
First you need to pour cold water over the peas and leave for 2-3 hours, if desired, you can overnight.
Smoked meats give a pleasant aroma to any pea soup, I used brisket. It must be cut into small pieces-cubes and fried in a multicooker bowl with the lid open, use the "frying" or "baking" mode.
Chop the onions, grate the carrots. Add vegetables to the brisket and continue frying for another 8-10 minutes.
Meanwhile, rinse the peas and add to the multicooker bowl with vegetables and brisket. Turn off the frying mode.
Also add potatoes cut into random pieces to the peas.
Add green peas, I used frozen, and I did not defrost it beforehand. We turn on the extinguishing mode and set the timer for 1.5 hours. Pour meat broth or water into a bowl.
In an hour and a half, our multicooker pea soup is ready. Serve it as a first course and don't forget to add the croutons.
