Peas are often used in the preparation of various soups, both in meat and vegetable broth. Today I want to share with you a recipe for a simple pea soup with sausages. It is recommended to take smoked sausages. Thanks to the peas, the soup is thick, and the sausages give it a pleasant smoked flavor.
To prepare pea soup with sausages, we need the following products: water, potatoes, sausages, peas, onions, vegetable oil, salt and dill.
Soak peas in water for 2-3 hours.
Rinse the peas with water.
Pour water into a saucepan, and then cook for an hour and a half until tender.
Fry the sausages in vegetable oil.
Chop the onions finely.
Remove the sausages from the pan and fry the onions in the same oil.
Add peeled and chopped potatoes, fried onions to a saucepan with peas. Cook for another 20 minutes.
Cut the sausages and dill, add to the soup.
Salt the soup to taste and cook for another 5 minutes.
Pea soup with sausages is ready.
