I think there are no people indifferent to celery: some love it very much, others hate it. This is because celery has a strong aroma and this aroma is predominant in any dish where celery is used. Root celery has a milder flavor and aroma, while herbs and stems are brighter.
Today I suggest you prepare a fragrant light soup with chicken and stalk celery. Low in calories, this soup is nevertheless very satisfying and tasty.
Let's take the products for making soup with celery and chicken from the list. Peking cabbage can be replaced with white cabbage, but then it will need to be put a little earlier, since it is tougher. Of the spices, I used only ground black pepper.
Pour water into a saucepan and cook the chicken. Today I took half of the breast on the bone for the soup. Bring to a boil, remove the froth and lay out the diced onions and carrots. Salt to taste.
Cook the broth over medium heat, avoiding boiling. At this time, we will peel the potatoes. 10 minutes after boiling, add the potatoes, diced or sliced, as you like, to the pot.
While the potatoes are boiling, cut the celery stalks across, into 2-3 mm slices. Place the celery in a saucepan.
Wait for it to boil again, and in the meantime, cut the Chinese cabbage.
