Probably, every hostess has a signature dish that she uses in certain situations: when guests are on the doorstep, when there is no time at all, when someone wants something and does not know what … So it is with me: when the heat is incredible, when I don't have the time and desire to cook, I cook classic okroshka with sausage on kvass. This is a dish that will both refresh and nourish you. It is prepared very quickly, the main thing is that there are boiled foods in advance. Although, you can put the eggs and potatoes to boil, and at this moment start cutting those ingredients that do not require heat treatment.
Refueling. It can be anything: water, water with vinegar, kefir, beer, whey … In our family, the recipe with kvass has taken root most of all. I always buy white or use my own, home. It gives this dish its piquancy, slight sourness and incredible taste.
