I suggest making a delicious homemade pea soup with bacon, simply and quickly! Cooking the soup will not take much of your time, all soup products are absolutely affordable.

I really love pea soup for the fact that it always turns out to be rich, hearty and tasty. You can cook this soup in meat or vegetable broth, I prefer to add a vegetable broth cube - it gives both taste and salt to the soup at the same time.

Let's prepare products according to the list. Bacon can be substituted for smoked brisket.

Rinse the peas in several waters until the water becomes clear. Fill the peas with 2 liters of water, add salt or a bouillon cube. We put the pan on the fire and cook the peas until it boils. Let's remove the foam that forms from the surface. Then reduce the heat to medium and cook the peas until tender, about 20 minutes. The cooking time depends on the quality of the peas and the way they are processed. Usually, the cooking time is indicated on the package.

When the peas are ready, add the potatoes cut into small cubes to the soup. And we continue to cook the soup.
