For a 2 L pot:
Water - 1.8 L
Peas - 1.5 cups
Smoked chicken drumsticks - 350 g
Leeks - 60 g

Pea puree soup with smoked meats is a soup that you will never refuse. A successful flavor combination always turns out to be a win-win. The most important thing is the selection of quality and tasty ingredients. For me at one time it was very difficult to find peas, just one that would boil well, oak peas often came across, even after soaking and three hours of cooking, the result was dull. But having found the very same brand, I now always have in the bins several packs of peas, which boil down literally in 30 minutes. And if all this is taken into account, pea soup can be cooked in 40-50 minutes, it pleases. There is no potato in the soup, but a set of vegetables that is bright to taste is added.
So, to prepare pea cream soup with smoked meats, prepare everything according to the list.
If you are not sure about the quality of the peas, soak them overnight. In my case, the peas should simply be rinsed thoroughly in several waters.
Transfer the peas to a saucepan, pour a portion of clean filtered water. At this stage, add smoked meats - chicken drumsticks. You can use any kind of smoked meats - ribs, meat, poultry, etc. Cook until peas are tender. At the end of cooking, remove the meat, set aside for a while.
Cooked peas are also set aside for a while or left on the stove over the lowest heat.
Prepare vegetables - peel and wash. Chop all vegetables - leeks, carrots, celery and mushrooms - absolutely randomly. Saute the ingredients in a little oil, then add some water to the pan, cover and simmer the vegetables for five minutes.
Transfer all vegetables to a pot of peas.
Grind all ingredients with an immersion blender until puree.
Add salt, pepper, a little granulated garlic to the soup. Stir and boil for several minutes, take a sample for spices, increase the amount of salt if necessary.
Cut the meat into large pieces.
Before serving, add meat to each bowl of soup, garnish with herbs. That's it, now the pea puree soup with smoked meats is completely ready for use.
