Cabbage can be different: with sauerkraut (which is washed and added at different stages, depending on whether it was stewed with frying or by itself), fresh, as well as sauerkraut and fresh together or even fried. Additionally, tomatoes or tomato paste, mushrooms or beans are added to this soup. In addition to cabbage, it can be cooked on: meat, smoked meats or lean, it can also be a puree soup in consistency, it is traditionally cooked with millet …

Prepare meat on the bone (boar here), sauerkraut, potatoes, onions, carrots, toat paste, millet, spices and herbs.

Put the broth to boil. Drain the first water after boiling together with scale

and then place the meat in fresh boiling water and simmer over medium heat with a little salt and spices to taste, until tender, covered.

Then remove the prepared meat from the broth, cut off the bone and cut into pieces.

Bring the broth to a boil and toss in the diced potatoes.

After boiling again, add thoroughly washed millet.

Saute onions and carrots in vegetable oil.

Rinse the sauerkraut.

Add cabbage and tomato paste, stirred in a small amount of broth, to the onion and carrot and simmer all together for about five minutes.
