Sorrel gives an amazing sourness to soups, such a dish cooked in meat broth turns out to be very tasty, rich, satisfying. With the onset of spring, missing the greens, I want to cook simple, tasty, vitamin dishes - like this soup.

Prepare food for the classic beef sorrel soup.

Rinse the beef, put in a saucepan, pour cold water (2.5 l), put it on fire. Add whole onions to the meat, cook together, then remove the onions, they will no longer be needed. When the water boils, skim off, reduce heat and cook until meat is tender.

Wash, peel and chop the potatoes. Add to a saucepan with boiled meat.

Optionally, you can add rice to the soup, for this, rinse it well and put in the broth, it will give the soup a velvety texture.

While the potatoes are boiling, peel and chop the carrots, add to the pan, cook until the vegetables are ready. Salt.
