Ptitim recently appeared on store shelves, before that not many had heard such a name. Ptitim are small round pasta, and although ptitim is also called Israeli couscous, with the usual couscous it tastes and looks different. In a word, these are such very small pasta washers that are suitable for preparing both first and second courses. Soup with ptitim and meatballs is prepared quickly and not troublesome, I don’t fry in such a soup, but I add vegetables raw - the soup turns out to be dietary and suitable for a children's menu!
Prepare the following foods: potatoes, minced chicken, ptitim, carrots, onions, water, salt, black pepper, herbs for serving.
Season the minced chicken lightly and pepper, form small meatballs with wet hands.
Boil potatoes (small cubes) in water until almost cooked, salt the water and dip the chicken meatballs in a saucepan.
Fill ptitim here.
And also put carrots (fine grater) and half of the peeled onion in the soup.
Let the soup simmer over high heat, and then simmer it slowly until all the ingredients are cooked through (not for long). Remove the onion from the cooked soup, pepper it lightly, taste with salt and turn off the stove.
Serve the soup with chopped herbs.
Enjoy your meal!!!
