Okroshka on kefir and mineral water turns out to be very light, it does not burden the stomach, but on the contrary, allows it to work correctly.

Kefir - 500 ml

In addition to the classic version of cooking okroshka based on kvass, this dish can be created according to other, equally delicious recipes. For example, my favorite variation of this cold soup is okroshka with kefir and mineral water. Mineral water can be used both still and in the presence of gases. But it is carbonated water that makes the taste of okroshka sharp, which is very necessary in the absence of kvass. We take boiled chicken fillet as a meat ingredient. All other products correspond to the traditional okroshka recipe.

Prepare all the necessary foods from the list. Boil the chicken fillet in slightly salted water until cooked. The fillet boiling time is 10 minutes after the liquid starts to boil. You do not need to cook it longer, as the chicken meat will become tough.

Pre-boil the potatoes in water without peeling off the skin. The cooking period for potatoes is 15-20 minutes, depending on the selected variety. It is important not to overcook potatoes for okroshka so that when cutting the cubes remain as even as possible. Cool the fruit completely, remove the top layer, cut the pulp into small cubes.

Boil the eggs until they are "hard-boiled", cool them in water, peel off the shells, and trim them like potatoes.

Cut the cooled chicken fillet into medium-sized cubes. It is very important that all components are cold, the laying of warm foods can lead to a rapid souring of the dish.

Rinse the cucumbers, cut into thin longitudinal slices, then chop into strips.

Rinse a bunch of dill and green onions under running water, shake off the drops, chop the herbs finely.

Load all prepared elements into a saucepan of suitable size.

Next, add the required amount of sour cream, pour in chilled kefir.

Pour the mixture with cold sparkling water.

Stir okroshka, add lemon juice to taste, freeing citrus from seeds in advance. Add salt gradually, as the salt grains do not dissolve immediately in the cold liquid. Okroshka with kefir and mineral water with chicken can be consumed immediately after cooking, while it remains as carbonated as possible, or you can put it in the refrigerator for a while so that the gases go away a little (optional).

Pour the finished okroshka into deep bowls. Enjoy your meal!
