Broth or water - 1.8 l

Sometimes I don't feel like messing around with meat and I cook soups with sausages or sausages. Today I will offer you a variant of a delicious soup with sausages and lentils. It is best to use instant red lentils - they will be ready in a few minutes. Choose delicious sausages of the highest grade.
To prepare the soup, prepare the required ingredients from the list.
Peel the potatoes and cut them into small cubes.
On a grater, grate the carrots, chop the onion into cubes, pepper into strips.
Boil water or heat ready-made broth, add potatoes and cook over low heat until tender. While the potatoes are boiling, heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan, add the onions and carrots to it and darken a little until the onions are soft.
Then add pepper, sausages cut into slices and, if desired, chili pepper to the pan. Cook for a couple of minutes.
Rinse the lentils under running water and add them to the pan. Stir all the contents and cook for another minute.
In the meantime, taste the potatoes for readiness and salt the broth to taste. Transfer the contents of the pan to a saucepan, add the bay leaf and cook for 7-8 minutes.
Lentil soup with sausages is ready! When serving, sprinkle with chopped parsley.
