Ingredients

Chicken broth - 400 ml

Water - 400 ml

Potatoes - 2 medium tubers

Carrots - 0.5 pcs.

Onions - 0.5 pcs.

Beets - 2 pcs.

Tomato sauce - 3 tablespoons

Root celery - 50 g

Frozen nettle - 50 g

Sunflower oil - 40 ml

Salt - 10 g

Sour cream - 1 tbsp.

Here's another recipe for frozen nettles. This time we will cook borscht in chicken broth, you can also cook it in water - a lean version, it will also be very tasty.

It is better to boil or bake the beets separately, I do this in the microwave while peeling the potatoes: several punctures with a fork in the root vegetables, pack them in a bag - and for 8 minutes at medium power, they are baked quite normally. Of course, you can cook and, as usual, do the roast. But somehow I cooked borscht, like in kindergarten, where pre-boiled beets are put into borscht, and I really liked the taste of the resulting product. That's why I do it so often. Plus it's faster.

So, prepare the ingredients for making frozen nettle borscht.

First, cook the beets, and then do the potatoes - peel them, cut them into cubes.

Dip the potatoes into the boiling broth diluted with water, add the roots and stems of herbs. Cook until the potatoes are ready, then remove the roots and stems.

Chop the celery root, onion and carrot.

In hot oil, slightly tame the vegetables.

Season the soup while continuing to simmer.

Cut the beets into thin cubes.

Simmer it in the same skillet.

By adding any tomato sauce (I have a gorloder who will add some spice).
