I would like to propose to cook another very tasty and inexpensive chicken soup with turnips. First courses are good for our digestion, so cook and feed them to your family without fail. Now turnips are eaten less and less often, but in vain, because this inexpensive root vegetable is healthier than many expensive vegetables. It cleanses our digestive system like a whisk, protects against colds and strengthens the immune system, since there is much more vitamin C in a turnip than in lemons and oranges.

Prepare products for making soup with turnip and chicken according to the list. Peel potatoes, onions, carrots and turnips, wash under running water along with chicken, tomato, cabbage and herbs.

Pour some lean refined oil into a saucepan or stewpan with a thick bottom, put onion chopped into small cubes and carrots grated on a coarse grater, fry over medium heat until soft, slightly golden.

Pour hot water from the kettle, put in the chicken. Cook over moderate heat for 20 minutes.

Cut potatoes and turnips into small cubes, transfer to a saucepan, cook for 15 minutes.

Cut the tomato into cubes, add to the soup, cook for another 5 minutes.

Disassemble the cabbage into inflorescences, transfer to the soup, cook for 10 minutes over low heat.
