Ukrainian borscht is a tasty and satisfying dish that almost everyone likes. Probably, now it is difficult to find a person who has never tasted borscht. Ukrainian borscht is usually served for lunch. And of course, many people know a little trick - borsch is much tastier on the second day. Well, let's get started.
To prepare a real Ukrainian borscht, we will prepare all the ingredients. We need chicken, potatoes, onions, carrots, cabbage, beets, dill, garlic, bacon, bay leaves, sunflower oil, salt and pepper.
So, we put the meat on the fire and let's do the rest. First, cut the potatoes into cubes. When the meat is ready, add the potatoes to it.
Grate the carrots.
Chop the onion.
Also chop the dill.
Cut the beets into strips.
Put the beets in a preheated frying pan greased with sunflower oil.
Fry for three minutes and add carrots.
Fry for another three minutes and add the onion.
Now fry for two minutes, mix everything well and add the tomato paste.
Shred cabbage.
Add chopped dill and cabbage to the pan.
Cook for 10 minutes and add the fry. Mix everything, cook for another 5 minutes and turn off the gas.
